Robert J. Bartoletti, EdD
Director
Robert Bartoletti has served as Director of the STEP and Global Student Teaching Office since
2001. He has been a teacher, principal and Chief School Administrator in central New Jersey
school districts for over 30 years. He earned his Doctorate of Education from Fordham
University and has taught Graduate Studies courses in the field of Educational Administration at
TCNJ and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is responsible for leading the work and policy
development of the Office Support for Teacher Education Programs and serves as the liaison to
the Professional Development Schools Network consisting of 20 partner school districts. He
also directs the Global Student Teaching program, Teachers as Scholars program and other
school district partnerships. Dr. Bartoletti is accessible to staff, students and school districts in
dealing with issues concerning clinical field placements, programs, and policies at home and

Ms. Victoria Allen-Edwards
Assistant Director
Vikki Allen-Edwards has served as a member of the Support for Teacher Education Programs
since 1999 and for the past five years has served as Assistant Director. Prior to arriving at the
STEP Office she served 15 years in Residence Life, Student Activities and Judicial Affairs. She
earned her BA degree from Centenary College and has matriculated in graduate courses at
TCNJ. She works directly with the faculty and school districts in scheduling field placements.
Ms. Edwards coordinates the sophomore and junior field placements for the faculty and consults
directly with the faculty and school district personnel in the identifying of appropriate school
sites for field experiences. She also contributes to the development of STEP Office and Global

Ms. Ginny Brown
Project Specialist
Ginny Brown has been a member of the STEP/Global Student Teaching Office for the past 18
years and for the past five years she has served as Project Specialist. She earned her BA degree
in Psychology from TCNJ and has also taken education graduate courses at TCNJ. Ms. Brown
facilitates the placement of senior student teachers and internship II and follows up on student,
faculty and school district questions concerning student teaching and internship II placements.
She has also assisted in the coordination of the Global Student Teaching Program, the Ewing
High School Advanced Placement Program and the Summer Symposium Program. Issues

Ms. Josephine Miller
Secretary
Josephine Miller has served as secretary in the STEP office since 2007. She earned her Bachelor
of Arts Degree from University Santo Tomas located in the Philippines. She supports the work
of the office and is directly responsible for facilitating the travel reimbursement of supervisors
and the payment of cooperating teachers. Ms. Miller also assists in the coordination of all
professional development events and related activities. She serves as the liaison to the Office of
Conferences and Meetings Services and is also responsible for managing the school districts
